Job Shadowing

Job shadowing is an effective practice at our school that introduces students to different careers and help them decide which jobs would be most suitable for them once they complete the schooling. This not only encourages the students to gain comprehensive knowledge about a subject but also, give them an opportunity to explore specific careers and get a realistic picture of the tasks performed for that job.

This Programme is a part of our organic learning approach and is the first potent existential step towards formulating the career of the students. It further creates an environment of experiential learning by providing on-the-job training, learning, and career development by shadowing the experienced dignitaries to get a better idea of what it takes to build a career in their fields.

While pursuing the programme, the students complete 30-hours of training in a professional setup. Credits of this research-work, training, and learning will be credited to the overall percentage of the students at the end of the session.

Our school has already tied up with the best of organizations and institutes in the field of music, performing arts, Legal Department, Chartered Accountancy, NGO Sector, Photography, Theatre and other Multi-National Organizations. The school arranges a time for the students so that they can spend several hours with the professional to ‘Shadow’ them and see exactly what they do on a daily basis.

We don’t compromise on child’s hidden potential and untapped abilities and provide them the mindful approach by which each student, whether day-scholar or boarder can pursue an interdisciplinary personal interest. Job Shadowing is the best way to achieve that.
